Emergency crews were busy today as five incidents were reported to Indiana County 911 throughout the morning and early afternoon.
Clymer fire department and state police were called out to 8th and 7th St. in Clymer Borough for a vehicle accident shortly after 6:30 a.m. Third assistant fire chief Haley Mumau said that a driver had rear-ended a parked car and crews were on the scene for an hour and a half. The driver suffered no injuries.
Commodore fire crews were called out for downed utility lines along Holly Road in Green Township shortly before 10 a.m.
Blairsville and Black Lick fire crews were dispatched to reports of a utility pole on fire along S. Walnut St. in Blairsville Borough around 10:10. No details on how the pole caught fire have been released yet.
Homer City and Indiana fire departments were called in to assist EMS crews in Center and White Townships shortly after noon.
