One man was flown to the hospital after an accident this morning involving a lawnmower.
Indiana County 911 dispatched Indiana Fire Association to 4462 Route 286 West in White Township for a physical rescue. State police were later called to the scene. According to Fire Chief Lee Thompson, a landscaping company was mowing the lawn when a riding mower malfunctioned. The mower and its driver, an employee with Superior Landscaping, went down the hill and into the creek. Thompson said that the victim was being taken to a Pittsburgh trauma center as a precaution.
Crews were on the scene for a little over an hour. The name of the victim has not been released.
