State police have charged a Shelocta man with threatening someone with a firearm in an incident on Wednesday.
Troopers were dispatched at 7:22 PM on August 4th to a home in the 300 block of North Ridge Road, and found a disturbance between neighbors that escalated to violent threats. Police say 75-year-old Dwain Seese of Shelocta allegedly pointed a revolver at the victim, identified as a 27-year-old Armstrong Township man and threatened to kill him. Charges of terroristic threats were filed with District Judge Susanne Steffee.
State police are investigating an incident of theft by deception that happened in mid-July. The victim in this case, identified only as an 86-year-old Commodore man, informed police on July 15th, he lost $500 in a scam where the suspects passed themselves off as members of Microsoft’s Tech Support Team.
