Area firefighters responded to several Saturday incidents, including the setup of a landing zone for a medical helicopter along Barnard Road in West Mahoning Township shortly before 1:30 yesterday afternoon. Dayton firefighters were dispatched.
Creekside firefighters were sent for utility lines down along Dark Hollow Road in Washington Township at about 2:30 PM; Brush Valley firefighters responded to an accident on Route 56 in Brush Valley Township just after three o’clock; Cherry Tree was summoned just after 3:30 for a gas leak along Sylvis Road in Clearfield County; and Homer City firefighters were dispatched for an accident on East Church Street just before 6:30 last evening. No one was injured in that crash.
