Police are looking into a case of criminal mischief that resulted in a damaged parking meter. Indiana borough police say on September 17th at 4:01 AM, an unknown suspect pulled a parking meter out of the ground in the 00 block of South 10th Street. Officers are seeking information on how the meter was tampered with.
A Drexel Hill man was cited for disorderly conduct for an incident early Friday in Indiana Borough. Police say that at 12:32 AM, police found 21-year-old Sean L. McFillin of Drexel Hill was seen throwing a business’s metal table onto the sidewalk in the 500 block of Philadelphia Street. The citation was filed through district judge Guy Haberl’s office.
Indiana borough police are investigating the theft of a cell phone. The phone was lost or mislaid early Thursday morning at an establishment in the 600 block of Philadelphia Street while the victim was inside the business. The phone is described as blue and is an iPhone 12 Pro Max model, and it was thought to have been taken sometime between 1:00 and 2:00 AM.
Police say that if you picked up the phone by accident, return it to the police department as soon as possible. Anyone with questions can call police at 724-349-2121.
