Several people were sentenced yesterday in Indiana County Court.
One of them was 21-year-old Jordan Clayborn of Blairsville, who was sentenced in two cases. He entered guilty pleas to two counts of aggravated assault for an incident at the Indiana County Jail back in July of 2021. He was already in jail for possession of a small amount of marijuana related to a stop in White Township one month earlier. For the possession charge, he was ordered to pay fines and court costs. For the aggravated assault counts, he was ordered to serve eight months to a day less than two years in Jail for each count, but he was paroled from jail forthwith for time served.
Cory Allen Sanner was also sentenced yesterday. The 23-year-old Glenn Campbell man pleaded guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct back in December of 2020. He faced several arson related charges, but some were dismissed at lower court and others were not prosecuted as part of the plea deal. He was ordered to serve three to 12 months in Indiana County Jail, but was also paroled immediately, and will serve five years of probation.
