The plans display for the replacement of the Yellow Creek Number 2 bridge went online on Friday and will be available through March 4th. The approximately $3.5 million project in White, Center, and Brush Valley townships is scheduled to begin construction in the spring of 2024 and be completed late that fall or in early winter.
The current two-span bridge located near the State Game Lands four miles southeast of Indiana on Route 954 will be replaced with a single-span bridge. Route 954 will be widened in the area and the approaches to the bridge will be improved. PennDOT plans a four-month, eight-mile detour around the construction using routes 56, 119, and 422.
