PennDOT says work will ramp up this week on two Indiana County construction projects.
Starting tomorrow, work will resume on the $5.7 million Cunningham Culverts project on Route 422 in Armstrong Township. Workers will be replacing pipe, adjusting inlets, and resurfacing 422 between the intersections of Poulos Road and Trim Tree Road. Flaggers will be controlling traffic and drivers should expect delays during daylight operations. The work is scheduled for completion on May 24th.
PennDOT also say that work crews will be painting lines and moving signal heads starting on Tuesday near the WalMart entrance on Oakland Avenue and on Indian Springs Road. They’ll be working on it between 7 AM and 6 PM daily and again, motorists should expect flaggers and delays. The $19.83 million Route 286/422 widening and resurfacing project is scheduled for completion in December 2023.
