State police in Indiana announced earlier today that a Vintondale man was charged in conneciton with the 2021 shooting death of a Johnstown man whose body was found in West Wheatfield Township.
Troopers say 19-year-old Noah David Turous was charged with felony counts of Robbery, Burglary, Criminal Trespass, and misdemeanor counts of Simple Assault and Recklessly Endangering another person in connection with the shooting death of 27-year-old Dashawn Cornelius Green of Johnstown.
A PennDOT worker found Green’s body in a ditch along Mulligan Hill in West Wheatfield Township on January 21, 2021 while inspecting a drain line. Green was shot in Johnstown three days before and his body was dumped in the ditch.
Turous is NOT charged with shooting the victim, as the man responsible for shooting Green was arrested and charged back in October 2021.
Turous is being held in Cambria County at $60,000 bond and a preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 26th before Judge Michael Musulin.
