Indiana County’s emergency responders have had an active weekend.
Indiana firefighters were dispatched just before 3 o’clock yesterday afternoon for an accident on Lucerne Road.
Marion Center was sent for traffic control at the scene of a crash on Route 119 North in East Mahoning Township at 7:42 PM. It reportedly involved a speeding car that state police were chasing, but there has been no police report.
Firefighters answered two calls for brush fires yesterday. Blairsville and Black Lick were summoned for a fire along Route 217 in Burrell Township at 7:43 PM and Saltsburg and Tunnelton responded to a brush fire along Nowrytown Road in Conemaugh Township at 9:45 PM.
And Blairsville and Black Lick were sent just before 2 o’clock this morning to set up a landing zone along Bentley Drive in Blairsville Borough.
