Today is Independence Day, where we celebrate the birth of our nation back in 1776. As today is a federal holiday, there are several closures in effect today.
Federal, state, and local government offices are closed for today. This includes PennDOT Driver’s License Centers. State Liquor Stores will be open today at their normal opening time but will close for the day at 5:00.
Post offices are closed for today. There will be no regular mail delivery. Many banks and the stock market will be closed for the holiday.
