During a busy day at the Indiana County Courts, an inmate in the state correctional system was sentenced for procuring a weapon while incarcerated.
27-year-old Sir Diamond King of Indiana was ordered to pay court costs and fines, and was ordered to serve between 28 months to five years in prison for the charge. The incident was reported last year.
Also sentenced yesterday was 22-year-old Joshua Haynes of Blairsville. He pleaded guilty to accidents involving injury, carrying a firearm without a license, and a summary vehicle violation for an incident on August 7th of last year. He was ordered to serve four months to a day less than two years in Indiana County Jail along with two years of probation after that.
