ST. CLAIR TOWNSHIP, WESTMORELAND COUNTY
State police have issued a report on a four-vehicle pileup Friday afternoon on Route 56 in St. Clair Township, just east of Seward in Westmoreland County. State police say a tractor trailer operated by 29-year-old Joseph Smith of Homer City failed to stop in time for slowing traffic near Keystone Street, striking the vehicle of Jessica Turner-Tamasovich of Columbus, Ohio. Turner-Tamasovich’s vehicle then hit the one in front of it, driven by Bryan Mack of Vintondale and sent it into the opposite lane, where it struck a vehicle driven by Mary Heinle of Cabot, PA.
