Indiana lost a close match with Norwin, 193-204 yesterday at Youghiogheny Country Club. Norwin’s Alex Graham was medalist with a 3-under par 33. Trevor Todd was 1-under for Indiana, including a chip-in for birdie on the par four third hole. Caden Force and Gabe Nettleton both shot 40 for Indiana, Ash Lockard shot a 43 and Harrison Martineau finished at 44. Indiana fell to 5-3 overall and 2-2 in the Section. They play at home today against Penn Trafford.
Penn Cambria outscored River Valley, 228-243 at Summit Country Club in Cresson. River Valley’s Jake Pynos was the medalist with a 40. Jeremy Reed shot a 44, Cole Stuchal a 49, Holden Fridley a 54, Bryson McDowell a 56, and Chase Stuchal a 58. River Valley fell to 1-3 on the season.
GIRLS SOCCER
Indiana downed Obama Academy, 6-0 as Sophie Scardina scored two goals, including one on a corner kick. Sophia Garzarelli, Sydney Anderson, Zoe Drahnak, and Jillian Ranes all had goals and Ranes added an assist. Bella and Julia Antonacci shared the shutout in goal.
