The Pens are also trying to snap a losing streak of their own that has stretched over the last six games and has put the Pens below .500 in the early part of the season. They will try to do just that with tonight’s game against the Seattle Kracken.
The Pens lost to the Kracken last Saturday night in Seattle. There were some absences yesterday, including Jake Guentzel and Josh Archibald. Archibald was off for a planned maintenance day, but Coach Mike Sullivan said that Guentzel was out with an undisclosed illness. Jeff Carter was not at practice yesterday. He has not played since October 29th . Carter is day-to-day with an undisclosed lower body injury.
You can hear the pens against the Kracken tonight on u-92.5 FM following the IUP game at 6:00 with the pre-game show.
