Those driving in the 422/286 project area will see some delays today as work on the project continues.
PennDOT announced that there will be line painting going on today and tomorrow, weather permitting. Along with that, traffic barriers are expected to be straightened out and travel lanes will be moved to the center of the road while maintaining three lanes of travel in the area.
The restrictions are in effect today until 6 PM and tomorrow from 6 AM to 6 PM.
This is part of the $19.83 million project to widen and resurface the road in that area. The project is expected to wrap up in December of next year.
