Congratulations to former Blairsville High basketball star Sidney McCully, who plays college basketball for Pitt-Greensburg. The senior has been named Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference co-player of the year and defensive player of the year. She averaged 18.4 points and 4.6 assists per game on the offensive end with 72 steals on defense. She also pulled down 7.9 rebounds per game. McCully was named all-conference first team as well.
UPG’s roster this season also included Purchase Line graduate Madison Scalese.
