After several active days, Indiana County first responders had a relatively quiet Thursday with just a handful of calls to respond to.
Indiana Fire Association members were dispatched for two of those calls. The first was to assist with traffic control along Oakland Avenue in White Township at 12:55 PM. The other call was at 9:17 PM for an automatic fire alarm activation on West Pike Road in White Township. That second call brought out members from companies 2 and 3.
Other calls included a flue fire at 11:07 AM at a home on Littletown Road in Brush Valley Township. Brush Valley and Armagh fire departments were dispatched for that call. Iselin Volunteer Fire Department was also dispatched to Route 422 in Armstrong County to assist with traffic control in that area.
