A former student of the Indiana Area School District is running for the school board.
JohnAllen Snyder has announced his intention to cross-file on both the Democratic and Republican Ballots for a seat on the Indiana School Board. Snyder, a native of Indiana and a graduate of the class of 2000, says his motivation to run for office is to be “a catalyst of change within the district,” and that “change is needed in order to move this district forward. He says that he would like to see the district competitive on every level, from the quality of classroom education to its innovation.
Snyder joins a very competitive field for the Indiana School Board of Directors. 11 others have announced their candidacy. Election day is May 16.
