A status conference is scheduled for today for a man charged in connection with the fatal shooting at the Carriage House Apartments in 2020.
21-year-old Terrion Gates of Johnstown faces charges of criminal homicide, robbery to inflict serious injury, attempted theft, conspiracy to robbery to inflict serious injury and theft by unlawful taking for the shooting death of Jadeyn Wright. Gates and three other suspects went to Wright’s apartment on October 17th of 2020 to purchase marijuana but that meeting lead to the shooting that killed Wright. Gates, along with Isaiah Moore, Isaballa Edmonds and Delmar Chatman fled the scene afterwards.
Gates was scheduled to have a jury trial this week, but that was postponed earlier this month. Jury selection for Moore is scheduled for August 21st, while Chatman’s jury selection will start June 19th. Edmonds is scheduled to have a criminal call hearing on August 4th.
