Indiana borough has announced the closure of a portion of sidewalk in the borough near where a fire destroyed an apartment building in December.
The sidewalk surrounding 122 North 6th Street is closed off for now as cleanup efforts start at the apartment complex that was destroyed by fire on December 2nd. Seven fire departments were called in to fight the blaze. The tenants were displaced by the fire, and the building was considered a total loss due to the water and fire damage.
The closure of the sidewalk is expected to last for the rest of the week.
