Indiana Borough Police have cited an Indiana Borough Council member for harassment following an incident in July.
Police say they were informed on August 21st that 58-year-old Supha “Poom” Sunhachawi-Taylor allegedly engaged in unwanted physical contact with an unnamed person shortly before 7 PM on July 11th at the borough building along North 8th Street. Indiana Borough Solicitor Pat Dougherty said the incident happened prior to the start of borough council’s regular voting meeting, however details on the nature of the incident are not available at this time.
Dougherty adds the borough has been notified of the incident and they will let the legal system take its course prior to making any decisions.
