The Center Township Supervisors will meet tonight and on the agenda is a resolution of community wide needs and priorities.
Resolution 23-07 will approve the project scope and the three-year plan of Community-wide needs and priorities for the 2023 Communitiy Development Block Grant Entitlement Application. This will be administered through the Indiana County Office of Planning and Development and the Department of Community and Economic Development.
Along with updates on storm water system construction and upgrades, there will also be a discussion concerning a proposed drug and alcoholism rehab center for the Homer City area. The group “Cathy’s Hope” is focused on helping women suffering from addiction and alcoholism through a faith-based program that would happen after detox is completed.
The meeting is scheduled for tonight at 6:30 at the Center Township Building.
