After opening the IRMC Thanksgiving Classic with a loss to nationally-ranked St. Thomas Aquinas on Saturday, the IUP men ended the weekend with a 75-58 win over Frostburg St.
Jack Benedict reports.
Coach Joe Lombardi said his young Crimson Hawks need to keep finding ways to win.
With its non-conference schedule complete, IUP takes a 2-3 record into Shippensburg to begin PSAC play this Friday. Lombardi said it will be good to play on the road after a tough slate of home games to open the season.
Both the women (3-1) and men will square off against the Raiders for their first doubleheader of the season. Tip-offs are scheduled for 3 and 5 p.m., respectively. Airtime this Friday is at 2:45 p.m. on U92.5 FM and U92radio.com.
