Citizens’ Ambulance kicked off its membership drive just a few weeks ago, and they have already received a great response.
(In an interview on Indiana in the morning), Dave Shaffer of Citizens Ambulance said that they sent out 6000 applications to those on their most recent current member list just after Thanksgiving and in the first six days of processing, 45% of those applications have come back applying for another year’s membership, which is great. He added that donations on top of the membership costs were also very high.
Citizens’ chief operating officer BJ Pino said that while the support received so far and in the past is great, the community needs to continue that support.
People who want to become members of Citizens’ can do so by logging on to www.citizensambulance.org, clicking on the “support us online” square and select senior or household membership, check out their facebook page, or call their business office at 724-349-5511.
