The White Township Supervisors met for their reorganization meeting Tuesday afternoon, and no changes were made to those holding executive positions.
Gail McCauley was unanimously re-elected as chairperson of the board while Rich Gallo was re-elected vice chair and Chris Anderson as Township Manager. McCauley said she learned a lot in her first year as chair and she’s ready to build on that experience.
Tuesday’s meeting also marked the first for Tim Vislosky, who retired in June 2022 after serving the township for 36 years on its sewer and road crews, but was elected to the Board of Supervisors in November.
He talked about what he’s looking forward to in his position.
In other business, Supervisors approved their meeting schedule for 2024. They will continue to meet every second Wednesday at 1 PM and every fourth Wednesday at 7 PM, with the exception of this month, November, and December. Those changes are below:
- January 17th – Combined meeting
- November 20th
- December 4th and 18th
They also approved closing the township office on Presidents’ Day.
