Joseph William Sisko, 91, Homer City, passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2024 while at the Westmoreland Hospital.
The son of Phillip and Anna (Tomchik) Sisko, he was born December 24, 1932 in Homer City.
Joe was a graduate of Laurel Lamar High School and a veteran of the Korean War. In his younger days, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, and retreating to his camp. He was a Redbarn and Homer City American Legion member. Joseph retired from Westinghouse. He will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather.
Surviving are his children, Michelle (William) Kimmell, Jocelyn (Rick) Saxman, Cindy Sisko, Jeff Sisko, and David Sisko; grandchildren, Michael Kimmell, Katie Kimmell, Steven Kimmell, Karen Kimmell, Nicki (Kyle) Ristau, Rob Saxman, Tj Saxman, Christopher (Sandy) Henry, Michael (Ashley) Henry, Douglas Henry, Chantal (Brandon) Sisko, Nick Sisko, Brian Sisko, Shannon Sisko; great-grandchildren, Ava Mathews, Emmett Murphy, Parker Ristau, Natalie Ristau, Aubreigh Saxman, Heidi Henry; sister, Mary Ann (Dan) Volpe; sister-in-laws, Judy Sisko, Eleanor Sisko, Carol and (Don) Dingman; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding Joe in death were his parents; wife, Darla (Goodhart) Sisko; second wife, Margaret (Palmer) Sisko; brothers, William, John, Phillip, Edward, Frank, Andy; sisters, Paula Smith, Irene Zelle, Helen Prato.
Funeral arrangements will be private and under the direction of the John A Lefdahl Funeral Home.
