An Indiana County native is throwing his hat into the ring for the US Congress Race.
Chris Dziados has announced that he will run for the Democrat Party’s nomination for the US Congress 14th district seat currently occupied by Republican Guy Reschenthaler. According to his website bio, Dziados graduated from United School District in Armagh and was a political science major at IUP, who went on to serve in the U.S. Army. He was deployed to Iraq as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom and went back for a second deployment to help train Iraqi forces. He also worked closely with the U.S. Air Force to develop and enhance U.S. Military Space Systems and would support the development of the U.S. Space Force and co-lead the team responsible for establishing the United States Space Command.
He is set to run against Ken Bach, Kimberly Felan and Phillip Vecchio for the nomination in the primary election on April 23rd.
