Indiana County’s first responders were busy last night into early this morning with multiple calls for service reported.
The first call was an automatic fire alarm activation on Bentley Drive in Blairsville Borough that brought the Blairsville fire and police departments and the Black Lick fire department out at 4:34 PM. After that was a carbon monoxide alarm in Clearfield County that brought out Glenn Campbell firefighters at 6:36 PM. Fifteen minutes later, a structure fire was reported on Smith Street in Green Township. Commodore and Clymer fire crews were called out at the time.
A vehicle accident was reported on Route 56 East in East Wheatfield Township. Armagh-East Wheatfield Firefighters responded along with West End EMS and State Police at 8:05 PM. A structure fire was reported on Coal Run Road in Young Township. Coal Run-McIntyre, Coral Graceton and Iselin-West Lebanon fire departments, the county RIT team and Citizens’ Ambulance were called out at 12:09 this morning, with Tunnelton Firefighters called in to assist at 12:16 AM.
