An Indiana man now faces charges connected with a break-in at an apartment in Indiana Borough last Friday.
Borough police say they were called out to an apartment in the 1000 block of Philadelphia Street for a report of a man trying to break into the apartment. The suspect, identified as 26-year-old Matthew Ohler, damaged property associated with the victim. As he was taken into custody, police discovered that Ohler was in possession of drugs and of items related to the drug.
Ohler is charged with attempted criminal trespass, possession of a controlled substance and of drug paraphernalia and criminal mischief-damaging property. Charges were filed with district judge Robert Bell. He is now free on $20,000 bond, but is due back in court on February 21st for a preliminary hearing.
