On Wednesday, White Township Supervisors approved a resolution concerning a proposed restaurant along Oakland Avenue.
The request for plan revision for new land development was submitted by Olio Development Group, who wants to turn the former Trotter’s Steak and Seafood House at 1850 Oakland Avenue into a Raising Cane’s franchise. Township Manager Chris Anderson said the resolution pertains to the location’s sanitary sewer planning, which is required by the Department of Environmental Protection.
Anderson adds the resolution for new land development is part of the preliminary planning phase.
In other business, Supervisors approved the transfer of a liquor license from Philly Street Station to the new Texas Roadhouse location, which is set to go in at the Aldi Food complex along Oakland Avenue. Anderson outlined some of the next steps for the restaurant.
No opening date was given but Mark Kozar with Flaherty and O’Hara, the legal firm associated with Texas Roadhouse, said they hope to open between October and November.
