The KCAC is expected to be busy today as lovers of the outdoors will gather for the PA State Taxidermy and Wildlife Art Competition Outdoor Sportsman Show.
The show is being put on by the PA Taxidermist Association, and will feature over 60 vendors, most of them related to the outdoors. That expo will be held in the lobby and upper concourse of the KCAC, with the floor of the arena serving as the showroom for taxidermy later on. As this will be a taxidermy competition, Jens Jorgenson with the convention said that these will be high-quality pieces.
Admission for the expo is $10 for adults, and kids under 16 are free. The Sportsman’s show starts at 10:00 AM and the Taxidermy showroom will open at noon. Both events will wrap up at 4:00 PM.
If you go, be sure to stop by our booth as Jake Slebodnick from our affiliate Cat Country 106.3 FM will be there for the start of the expo this morning.
