After Homer-Center’s rally for an 11-10 championship-clinching win over Derry in the 12th annual baseball tournament on Saturday, the final two weeks of the Heritage Conference regular season arrive with Conemaugh Township leading the East at 9-1 and Cambria Heights at 7-2. In the West, Homer-Center and River Valley are both 6-3, and they’re scheduled to play each other twice this week.
In Heritage Conference softball, Marion Center is 12-0 and West Shamokin 10-2 in the West. In the East, Conemaugh Valley is 8-2 and Cambria Heights is 5-5.
In the WPIAL, Indiana’s baseball team is tied with Kiski for second in 4A Section 4. Both are 5-3 and North Catholic leads the Section at 7-1.
In softball, Indiana leads 4A Section 1 with a 9-0 record, a game ahead of Knoch. The girls will play at Knoch this afternoon.
