The Homer-Center Wildcats gave up two runs in the fifth inning and three more in the seventh and lost to West Branch, 7-3, Thursday afternoon in the District 6 2A semifinals at First Commonwealth Bank Field.

Separate Championships?

A bill permitting, but not requiring, the PIAA to hold separate sports championships for public and private school has been introduced in the state legislature. Do you support it?

YES! The current system gives an unfair advantage to the private schools.

NO! Leave it as it is now and always has been.

ALMOST! It should require separate championships, not make it an option.
