UPDATE: IUP will play top seed Central Missouri, a 3-2 loser to number eight Angelo State, on Monday at 1:30.
IUP lost a tough one Saturday in its first game of the 2024 NCAA DII College World Series, 2-1, to Point Loma.
The Crimson Hawks had a great chance in the 8th, scoring a run to cut Point Loma’s lead to 2-1, and had bases loaded and one out. But a fly out and runner gunned down ended the threat.
