River Valley picked up its third straight win with a 198-255 victory over Northern Cambria yesterday at Chestnut Ridge. Maren Dunlap led all golfers with a 45. Madigan Dunlap followed with a 48, while Ashley Pynos added a 51. The Panthers will face Central Cambria on Monday.
BOYS GOLF
Homer-Center fell to Portage, 215-252. Portage’s Jonah Irvin medaled with a 2-over 37. Braydon Rado led Wildcat golfers with a 41. Up next is a home match against Conemaugh Township on Tuesday.
VOLLEYBALL
River Valley coach Jillian Glover was announced as the next head coach of Mount Aloysius’s men’s volleyball team yesterday, taking over for Logan Patterson. She will continue her tenure as River Valley’s head coach while also leading the Mounties.
