17-year-old Mya Calhoun of Northern Cambria was named the 2024 fair queen last night at the Indiana County Fair.

The daughter of Mike and Brenda Calhoun, she is a senior at the Penns Manor Cyber School and is the co-owner of MY-KE Livestock. Mya is also the president of the Treasure Seekers 4-H club and held various offices in the Penns Manor FFA.
Penns Manor’s Erika Dixon was named alternate queen and Ava King from Homer-Center was named Fair Ambassador.
Today is Indiana County Commissioners Day at the fair with all veterans and senior citizens over the age of 65 receiving free admission to the grounds. Today is also the first day of the C&L Carnival and rides at the fair. Just a reminder that the carnival rides are an additional cost. The main event on the grandstand tonight is the Stock Gasoline and Stock Diesel 4×4 Pickup Pull starting at 7:00 PM.
