At a meeting Tuesday night, the River Valley School Board voted to table an agreement concerning the Blairsville Stadium project.
While teams have been playing at the new field, there are some things that still need to be finished. Board President Rick Harper said that the agreement with Force Turf Solutions would complete that work at a cost not to exceed $800,000.
The contract for the project was not attached to the motion, so the district solicitor suggested that the agreement be tabled. Rick Harper anticipates a special meeting next week to approve the agreement.
In other business, it was announced that the negotiations committee had reached a verbal agreement with their custodial union. The agreement will be up for board approval next month.
