The Baltimore Ravens knocked off the LA Chargers 30-23 in Monday Night Football last night, pulling the Ravens to within a half game of the Steelers in the AFC North. The Ravens face a tough matchup on Sunday against the Eagles at home while the Steelers will visit the Bengals in Cincinnati.
Special teams ace Miles Killebrew is the Steelers’ nominee for the NFL’s Art Rooney Sportsmanship Award. Each of the 32 teams chooses one candidate. A committee of ex-players will choose four finalists from each conference and the award will be announced on the night before the Super Bowl. Even though the award is named for the Steelers’ founder, no Pittsburgh player has ever won it.
