Conemaugh Township had a tough time with Homer-Center. The Indians come away with a 62-54 win, led by Kieran Kane’s 20 points. Erik McClemons scored 13, Colin Dinyar 12 and Ethan Matera 11. For the Wildcats, Angelo Alexander put up 17, Nash Budner 15, and Max Voyda 13.
River Valley beat Conemaugh Valley, 74-65 as three players scored career highs. Max Persichetti scored 26, Nick Mortimer 17 and Jake Pynos 14.
Northern Cambria edged West Shamokin 41-39. The Wolves’ Bradyn Rodgers scored 27 points. No stats provided by the Colts.
Portage knocked off Purchase Line, 70-27.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
Marion Center topped United, 38-17. Macie Miller led the Stingers with 19 points.
WRESTLING
United beat Forest Hills, 40-30. Winners on the mat for the Lions were Colton Henning, Connor Riffer, Jacob Yatsky, and Max McConville by decision, and Gideon Bracken, Josef Garshnick, Michael Monty, Dylan Stephens, and Sawyer McGinnis by fall. Bracken’s win was his 100th career victory.
