The SEC handed the ACC their collective hats in the SEC/ACC Challenge, winning fourteen of the sixteen games in the two-day event, and that includes last night’s 90-57 blowout of Pitt by Mississippi State.
Pitt struggled in the paint…they were outrebounded 49-27 and outscored 51-14 and the Bulldogs outscored the Panthers 24-12 in second-chance points.
Jaland Lowe scored 19 points for Pitt, with four 3-pointers, and freshman Brandin Cummings added 12.
Pitt opens its ACC scheduled at Virginia Tech on Saturday.
