PennDOT announced the winners of the annual “Paint the Plow” competition, and one local school took home honors for District 10.
Indiana Area won the “Fan Favorite” Award after garnering 497 votes. Members of the public were able to cast their vote through PennDOT’s online portal from December 9 through the 15. Keystone High School in Clarion County was named honorable mention.
This year’s theme is “Use Your Reason When It’s Freezin’,” and Indiana’s plow showcased a roadway being treated with salt brine while a plow truck clears snow on a roadside. You can view their plow by clicking here.
Other local schools involved in the contest were Marion Center, Penns Manor, United, and River Valley.
