First responders are tending to two incidents that happened around 9 o’clock this morning.
A vehicle accident sent Plumville and Marion Center firefighters, and state police to Route 210 in South Mahoning Township at 8:55 a.m. Initial scanner reports say one vehicle was on its side and occupants were initally trapped inside, but they were able to get out a short time later. One of the occupants reportedly suffered a cut to her hand and reported neck pain. They initially declined treatment on-scene, but an ambulance was called to the crash anyway.
And a structure fire was called in at 9:03 a.m. along Watering Trough Road in North Mahoning Township. Scanner reports say a home likely caught fire after an electrical surge, but it was put out within minutes.
These are developing stories and we will pass along more information once details are available.
