Funeral services for Dan Shacreaw, the Black Lick firefighter and Burrell Township Supervisor, will be held today, and there will be some traffic restrictions in Blairsville today.
Traffic delays are expected today as a funeral procession makes its way from the Shoemaker Funeral Home to the Black Lick fire hall for the funeral service. Police say the procession will start around 10:00 this morning and officers will stop traffic through town as the procession makes its way through. No parking signs have been placed along North Stewart Street from East Market Street to East Sugar Alley to allow easier navigation of fire apparatus expected to be part of the procession.
The procession will return to the Funeral Home around 1:30 this afternoon, and again, there will be some traffic restrictions.
