Today is New Year’s Day, and as we welcome the new year, there are some closures in effect.
Federal, state and county government offices are closed for the day. This includes PA Driver License Centers and PA Fine Wine and Good Spirits stores. There will be no regular mail delivery today and post offices are closed. Fed Ex will not make any pickups or deliveries today. There will be no UPS domestic ground, air and international deliveries today, and access to UPS store locations may be limited, so call there if you need anything shipped before you go out.
Major stock exchanges are closed for the day, as are many banks. Banks will continue to offer service through their websites and apps, but their call centers may be closed or working on holiday schedules.
There is no bus service being offered by IndiGo today due to the holiday, but service will resume tomorrow. They also remind everyone that cash fares will go up starting tomorrow, but fares paid through the IndiGo Mobile App or web portal will stay the same.
