First responders have been out early this morning for call of utility lines down that is affecting Penelec customers in the Homer City area.
The call went out at 4:10 this morning for lines down along Campbells Mill Road in Black Lick Township. Black Lick, Aultman, and Blairsville fire departments were initially dispatched, while the Coral-Graceton fire department was called three minutes later to assist.
Penelec says 179 of its customers in Center Township and 47 in Homer City Borough are affected by the outage, with outages also reported in Black Lick and Burrell townships. Power is expected to be restored by 10:00 this morning. REA Energy is not reporting any outages at this time.
