Indiana borough police charged an Indiana man with assault for an incident last Saturday.
Officers were called out at 11:39 PM on January 4th to an incident in the 300 block of South 13th Street. Officers discovered that 45-year-old Martin Fike was engaged in a physical altercation with an unnamed resident of the house that resulted in minor injuries. On top of assault, Fike was charged with strangulation and harassment.
Fike was arraigned and placed in Indiana County Jail on $5000 bail. A preliminary hearing is set for January 23rd.
