TikTok is planning to shut down its app for U.S. users on Sunday. That’s according to Reuters.
That’s when a federal ban on the social media app would go into effect, if the Supreme Court doesn’t move to block it. The law would only ban new TikTok downloads from the Google or Apple app stores and would let exsiting users to still have acces for some amount of time.
Instead, users that open the app come Sunday will see a pop up message that directs them to a website that has information about the ban.
