While the holiday season is over, the spirit of giving is still strong, especially concerning Renda Media’s Teddy Bear Fund Drive.

On Indiana in the Morning on WCCS this morning, representatives from the Indiana Senior High Student Government Association stopped by to make a donation of $7,000 to the fund drive. Activities included popcorn and cotton candy sales, and the annual variety show put on by the students and faculty. Student Government Advisor Michael Bertig said that it truly is a school wide effort.
United School District also made a donation of $2,289.34 this morning through various activities, including the school’s annual volleyball tournament. United National Honor Society advisor Jennifer Buckovich said that this year marked a return to raising funds for the fund drive.
Money raised by the fund drive go to help child health care at Indiana Regional Medical Center and the Free Care Fund of Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh.
