IUP football coach Paul Tortorella has welcomed four mid-year transfers to campus.
Quarterback Matthew Rueve is a 6-4, 215 pounder who will have one year of eligibility remaining after playing at Findlay University and Boston College. He was second-team All-Great Midwest Athletic Conference in 2024.
Former Belle Vernon High School wide receiver Devin Whitlock is a 5-10, 165-pounder who is transferring from Pitt with three years of eligibility.
Safety David Awuah is from East Stroudsburg, where he played for Bethlehem Catholic. He transfers from Seto Hill, where he was a 2024 All-PSAC West First Teamer. He’ll have two years of eligibility.
Defensive back Mehki Johnson is another PSAC transfer, from Millersville. He has three years of eligibility.
National signing day for incoming freshmen is this Wednesday.
